  4. Rest the jar on a towel, upright, on the front passenger floor or in the trunk.
  5. Switch the bubbler on and lower its hose into the jar.
  6. Peel a tablet free of its foil and let it drop into the water.
  7. Lock the doors behind you and stay away for sixty full minutes.
  8. Once the hour's done, swing all four doors wide and run the AC on fresh-air mode for half an hour before you get in and drive.

PREPARE THE KIT.

Place the jar in the room

Set the jar on a hard, flat raised surface in the center of the room where the pet smell is strongest. A table or countertop works best so the gas spreads through the whole space.

Fill the jar with water

Pour clear water into the jar up to the designated fill line (approximately 5 oz).
